2026 Chevrolet Suburan EV Redesign, Price, Dimensions
2026 Chevrolet Suburan EV Redesign, Price, Dimensions – After 87 years on the market, the Suburan EV brand is now as ubiquitous as Coca-Cola, although having just been established in 1935. In its current 12th generation, this enormous full-size SUV maintains its eight-passenger capacity, three-row layout, and impressive towing capabilities.
A streamlined version of the ‘Burban, the much shorter Tahoe, is assessed independently. An inline-six turbodiesel with 277 horsepower is an alternative to the standard 355 horsepower V-8, while a gas V-8 with 420 horsepower is also available.
The Suburan EV has an enormous trunk that can accommodate 20 cubic feet more cargo than the Jeep Wagoneer can when the third row is folded. The Suburan EV can absorb the bumps on the road with ease thanks to its optional air suspension. While the materials and design inside aren’t very noteworthy, the 10.2-inch touchscreen is great for controlling the temperature and navigating the vehicle. 2026 Chevrolet Suburan EV Redesign

Exterior and Interior
More cargo and passenger space is available in the Suburan EV compared to its predecessor. A total of 145 cubic feet of cargo space is available in the Suburan EV, thanks to its independent rear suspension, which also makes the load floor flatter and lower.
Its head-up display has grown in size, but the most of its popular amenities, such as ventilated and heated seats and wireless phone charging, are still present. A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster is standard equipment starting with the LT version.
The Suburan EV has several entertainment options and connections to keep modern families engaged on the go. The optional rear-seat entertainment system is included on all trim levels and includes two 12.6-inch displays mounted behind the front seats, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and plenty of charging stations strategically placed around the vehicle.
A 10.2-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity is standard on the remaining Suburan EV models, with an 8.0-inch infotainment screen available on the lowest LS trim.

Engine and Performance
A six-cylinder diesel engine and two V-8s round out the powertrain options for the Suburan EV. With the exception of the highest-end High Country trim, every vehicle comes standard with a 5.3-liter V-8 producing 355 horsepower. A 3.0 litre diesel six-cylinder engine is available as an option at that trim level, while the standard engine is a 6.2 litre V-8 with 420 horsepower. The latter may only have 277 horsepower, but its 460 pound-feet of torque is on par with the bigger V-8.
With the latter, you may set the Suburan EV’s riding height manually or set it to adjust itself. This allows for better aerodynamics, ground clearance, and passenger accessibility. Sporty styling features, such as blacked-out exterior trim and 22-inch wheels, are available on the RST variant. 2026 Chevrolet Suburan EV Redesign
2026 Chevrolet Suburan EV Fuel Economy
We validated the diesel-six’s improved economy over gas engines by testing it on our highway route in a Tahoe, the ‘Burban’s smaller sister; the vehicle returned 27 mpg. Given that the Tahoe diesel only gets one more MPG on the highway than the ICE, we wouldn’t be surprised if a Suburan EV powered by this engine had noticeably lower results.
2026 Chevrolet Suburan EV Price and Release Date
The price of a 2026 Chevrolet Suburan EV might range from $59,095 to $79,745 (without taxes and optional features). The RST’s 22-inch wheels and blacked-out exterior trim give it an aggressive appearance, so we recommend it.
As standard equipment, you can expect a Bose sound system, leather upholstery in the first and second rows, heated front seats with memory settings, and a power liftgate, among other desirable features. The diesel’s easy power and fuel economy make it our top selection among the three engines. 2026 Chevrolet Suburan EV Redesign
